You habitually put the laundry in the drum and started the wash, and after a while you found that the Atlant washing machine does not wash and issues the F3 code. For example, the F3 error in the Atlant machine appears regardless of the program, and besides, the washing may well continue. What does this code mean and how to fix the malfunction?
Error decoding
Error code F3 means that there was a problem with the heating of the water: it is absent or, conversely, it is excessive. In this case, the machine can work normally in cold water washing modes, and on programs with heating, an error appears. In models without a screen, this error is indicated as follows - the 3rd and 4th drain indicators are on.
If you notice that your laundry is poorly washed, and a musty smell is felt, then most likely there is a breakdown of the heater.
Reasons not requiring repair
- Electrical connection. It is necessary to clearly monitor whether there are any damages on the cord itself or the plug. It is also important that the connection to the electrical network is carried out directly, that is, immediately to the outlet, and not using an adapter.
- A system failure has occurred. If such an error occurred for the first time, then you can give the typewriter time to rest. Unplug the machine by pulling the cord from the outlet for literally ten minutes. Quite often, a crash occurs, but it is temporary and such a reboot will help.
- Check the connection of the TENA wires. This scenario is possible if the device was disassembled before a breakdown of this type. It is likely that the contacts just moved a little away from their usual place.

Faults requiring repair
In addition to malfunctions that do not require repair, there are those as a result of which a direct repair is necessary.
TEN broke
If during washing at high temperature, the sunroof remains cold, then the heater is faulty. Also, if the washing machine is shocked, the heater insulation may be damaged, and this may cause a short circuit and even a fire. The cause of the malfunction may be factory defects or scale. The heating element cannot be repaired; replacement will be required. Be sure to check the heater with a multimeter, maybe the problem is not in it, but in the temperature sensor (in some models, the temperature sensor is installed separately from the heater).
Temperature sensor broken
The appearance of the error F3 at the very beginning of the wash, when the washing machine does not heat, overheats or completely boils water, can indicate a malfunction of the temperature sensor - a temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the water in the washing machine. In this case, it will be necessary to replace the temperature sensor, and if it is built directly into the heating element, which is observed in most models, then a complete replacement of the heating element will be required.
Bad control board
If, after 12-15 minutes after the start of washing, the error F3 is displayed on the display panel of the Atlant machine and the washing process is completely stopped, this means that the control board could fail. This is a microcircuit that controls the workflow of a washing machine. Basically, a relay located on the control board that is responsible for turning on the heater or the track burns out. In this case, you will need to replace the burned-out relay or solder the tracks. At the time of the processor malfunction, you will need to completely replace the control module.
Wiring problem
If the error F3 appears in the washing machine, then disappears, then the wiring from the heating element to the control module is damaged. In this situation, you need to twist the damaged wiring or make a complete replacement of the loop with wires.
